Vanagon is a Europe focused Climate DeepTech preseed fund based in Munich, built to close the early stage funding gap across DACH. A team of three mission driven GPs, Sandro Stark, Susanne Fromm, and Axel Roitzsch, backs top tier technical and industry experts with high conviction, often leading or co leading rounds. Fund I is €30M, targets initial tickets up to €500k with ownership up to 10%, and has shown strong early momentum, including top decile performance from 2022 to 2024 as roughly 30% of the portfolio raised uprounds and more than €39M has been raised across the portfolio to date.
The thesis concentrates on three pillars that will define the next generation of climate infrastructure and software: Climate Software, Nature Fintech (including spatial finance), and Industrial & Circular Infrastructure.
